Decree on the control of air pollution.

With a view to contributing to the prevention and control of air pollution, the present Decree sets out air quality standards and establishes particular provisions applicable to those activities which are likely to cause air pollution. Such activities shall be subjected to the previous issue of a special authorization (art. 13) and to inspections (art. 16). Those areas where the emission standards have been exceeded shall be subjected to a particular protection regime as per article 25. Articles 28 and 29 deal with urgent protected zones. Articles 30 to 36 concern offences and penalties.
