Administrative Decision No. 5 of 2024 regarding the ban on the import and circulation of veterinary preparations that contain the active ingredient Metamizole/Dipyrone for food-producing animals.

This Resolution consisting of 6 articles aims to prohibit the import and circulation of veterinary preparations that contain the active ingredient Metamizole/Dipyrone (a drug that has analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic properties) for food-producing animals. All companies and factories producing veterinary preparations containing Metamizole/Dipyrone must comply with the new decision within 3 months, after which registrations for food-producing animals will be canceled.
