Decree No. 33 of 2005 declaring Al Yasat islands as a Protected Marine Area.

The aim of this Decree is to declare the islands of Al Yasat, Isam and Karsha marine as protected areas. This Decree composed of 8 articles. Article 1 defines boundaries of the aforementioned protected areas. Article 2 deals with the Competent Authority in charge to manage and administrate protected areas. Articles 3-5 specify the prohibited activities in protected Zones. Article 6 entrusts the Competent Authority to define fishing zones, licence’s requirements and control means for the implementation of this Decree.
