Federal Law No. 7 of 2023 amending some provisions of Federal Law No. 10 of 2002 regarding the practice of veterinary medicine.

This Law, consisting of 3 articles, aims to amend the original 2002 Law. The amendment addresses (i) terms related to veterinary medicine, such as veterinary facilities, veterinarians, and allied veterinary medical professions; (ii) requirements for obtaining a veterinary medicine license, including holding a bachelor's degree from a recognized UAE university; (iii) the creation of a general register at the Ministry for licensed veterinarians and allied professionals; (iv) definition of various veterinary facilities, such as hospitals, clinics, laboratories, drug warehouses, pharmacies, advisory offices, commercial farms, and artificial insemination centers; (v) veterinary medical practices, including examinations, treatments, surgeries, and issuing health certificates.
