Land Registration Law No. 7 of 2006 in Dubai.

The aim of this Law is to regulate land registration in Dubai. This Law is composed of 11 Chapters divided into 29 articles. Chapter 1 deals with terms and definitions. Chapter 2 specifies the scope of application and rights of ownership. Chapter 3 contains general provisions. Chapter 4 provides for the jurisdiction of the Department of Lands and Properties. Chapter 5 and 6 pertain to land register, registration and recording. Chapter 7 provides for alterations or corrections of records in land's register. Chapter 8 refers to maps. Chapter 9 addresses dividing and merging. Chapter 10 provides for ownership documents. Chapter 11 contains final provisions.
