Abstract
The ministerial decision provides that: (i) the ban on the import of all living animals with cloven hooves, their meat, products and offal from the Arab Republic of Egypt is lifted; (ii) all imported consignments shall be subject to the applied legislation and laws of veterinary quarantine and animal welfare in the United Arab Emirates; and (iii) that the Quarantine & Food Safety Department of the ministry shall coordinate with the relevant authorities in the United Arab Emirates to implement this decision.
