Ministerial Decree No.417 of 2019 concerning the regulation of the importation of palms.

Abstract
This Decree consisting of 5 articles and III Annexes aims at regulating the import of the plants or part of them (except for the fruits). It prohibits the import, unless accompanied by a phytosanitary certificate, from the countries where was registered (i) red palm weevil; (ii) bayoud disease or Fusarium wilt; and (iii) lethal yellowing. Art.2 lists other exceptions. The Annexes list in details the kinds of plants and the countries in which the presence of red palm weevil was registered.

Notes
The Decree cancels Ministerial Resolution No.315 of 2011 and Ministerial Resolution No.510 of 2008 regarding the regulation of date palm imports.
