Ministerial Decree No.580 of 2015 on the prevention of fishing, selling and marketing small size fishes which the total length of less than the allowable limit.

This Resolution consisting of 3 articles aims at protecting the marine wealth. It establishes a minimum length below which the fish may not be caught (details are specified in the Annex). The fishes smaller than the length allowed have to be thrown back into the sea. The Decree also bans selling, marketing and circulation of these small fishes, either if locally captured or imported.
