Ministerial Decree No.800 of 2015 concerning the registration of seeds and tubers.

This Resolution consisting of 7 articles aims at regulating import and circulation of seeds and other plant materials in the Emirates. This Decree deals with: conditions for seeds and tubers registration at the Ministry of Environment and Water in order to allow their importation or, if locally produced, to allow their circulation; exceptions in cases of import to participate in exhibitions or for scientific purposes for which the conditions are stated in article 4; conditions for the release of shipments of seeds and planting materials; and rules for export or re-export these materials.
