Ministerial Resolution No. 226 of 2019 on the formation of the Supreme Committee for the Exploitation, Protection and Development of Living Aquatic Resources.

This Resolution consisting of 5 articles aims at establishing a Committee to take the necessary coordination measures to exploit, protect and develop the living aquatic resources in the country. Among its members, the Committee also includes representatives of the following entities (i) Critical Infrastructure and Coastal Protection Authority; (ii) Environment and Nature Reserves Authority; and (iii) Environment Protection and Development Authority. The fishing regulation committees, formed by decisions issued by the Ministry of Climate Change and the Environment in each Emirate, are canceled.
