Ministerial Resolution No. 93 of 2001 on the importation of live animals.

This Resolution is composed of 4 articles. Article 1 prohibits the importation of live animals and birds unless a previous authorization has been issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Fish Resources. Live animal consignments shall not be delivered if they do not fulfil the importation’s requirements and conditions under the control of a veterinary surgeon (art. 2). The Director of the Animal Resources Department in cooperation with the relevant authorities shall implement this Resolution (art. 3).
