Ministerial Resolution No.152 of 2013 regulating the Passage and Export of Hazardous Waste Shipments across the Country's Borders.

This Resolution consisting of 8 articles aim at protecting the marine, air and soil environment by prohibiting transboundary movements of hazardous wastes without previous written permit issued by the Ministry of Environment and Water.
Based on Basel Convention on the Control of Transboundary Movements of Hazardous Wastes and their Disposal, the Resolution specifies procedures for permitting passage or export of hazardous waste shipments and necessary documents attached in the Annexes 1 and 2 (Notification Form and Movement Form). Annex 3 indicates the categories of hazardous wastes to be controlled as per Basel Convention.
