Abstract
This Resolution consisting of 7 articles aims at permitting to the licensed angler surface fishing in the daghwa manner (collective fishing with a square grid) all year long, giving the specifications for the net. The Resolution allows fishing wild fish from 1 October to 30 June, giving the specifications for the permitted nets (and that cannot be used for other fishes).
Article 5 deals with other details, such as timing for fishing, distance from the coast, inspections. It also prohibits fishing the following: sea turtles, and collecting their eggs, dolphins, whales, dugongs and other marine mammals. Attached to the Resolution the selected areas where the daghwa fishing is permitted.
