Resolution No.433 of 2017 on the Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed.

This Resolution consisting of 6 articles aims at issuing the Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF), modeled on the European Union's RASFF, in the Emirates for reporting health risks from food and feed products. The document is divided into 3 Parts. Part 1 concerns the legislative basis, classification of accidents and notifications. Part 2 regards the Network System, individuating responsibilities and roles of the various contact points. Part 3 deals with the procedures for managing notifications received from or issued by both the national and the central focal points and their sources. The national focal point shall receive notifications form INFOSAN, EU-RASFF and GCC-RASFF.
