Decree on the distribution and sale of state owned land for residential, commercial and high rise buildings in Kabul city.

This Decree provides for the distribution and sale of state owned land for residential houses and for commercial or multi-storied buildings.
According to the Decree, individuals who do not own any house or land may be eligible for land allocation from the state.
The Decree regulates how and where different classes of applicants should submit their application for purchase of land for a residential house. The land shall be given to the eligible person within six months from the time the applicant fulfils the formalities, including the payment of the purchase price. Requirements that must be fulfilled before a legal deed is granted are outlined in the Decree.
The Decree further specifies the cases in which contract sale and distribution of land shall be abrogated and the land shall be returned to the state.
