Environmental Protection Policy in Mining.

This Policy is providing guidelines for protection of different sectors of environment including air, diversity, waste, soil, water resources, noise pollution, wild life in light of mining operations covering exploration, extraction, mine closing and resuscitation and other related economic activities in mining sector. This Policy is aiming to reduce the negative effects on environment that may result from the operation activities of mines. Ministry of Mines and the National Administration for Protection of Environment are related governmental sectors. The Policy provides for mining operation based on international standards and by modern technologies to reduce its environmental impacts. This Policy further requires owners of the mining license to report on environmental aspects of their operations before proceeding actions. This Policy consists of 11 Articles.
