Abstract
The aim of this Policy is to reduce mortality and sickness associated with nutrition, and to simultaneously promote the economic advancement of the country by tackling different facets of malnutrition. This Policy has been developed on core values of human rights, gender equality, fairness, and cultural sensitivity. Its central objective is to continually improve the nutritional welfare of Afghanistan's citizens, with a particular emphasis on women and children. This includes advocating for and supporting approaches and initiatives that enable individuals to adopt healthy eating patterns, access nourishing sustenance, and make use of efficient preventive and remedial nutritional support.
