Regulation of Distribution of Ornamental Saplings and Plants

The Regulation sets provisions to regulate the distribution of ornamental saplings and plants. The Regulation consists of 10 articles, which divided into 4 Chapters: General Provisions (I); Responsibilities and Competencies (II); Distribution of Ornamental Saplings and Plants (III); Final Provisions (IV). The main objectives of distribution of ornamental saplings and plants are protection and improvement of the environment, expansion of the green spaces in the country, reduction of air pollution, and decoration of cities, government offices, institutions, social organizations, religious institutions, and holy places. The Forestry and Rangeland Development Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock is the authority responsible to distribute ornamental saplings and plants in the country.
