Abstract
Every owner of livestock, i.e. cattle, sheep and goats, shall register within seven months existing animals with the Veterinary and Livestock Division of the Ministry of Agriculture. For new-born animals the term is one months after birth. The livestock shall be registered, branded and tagged by the Chief Veterinary Officer in accordance with article 4. Any person having any livestock under his or her charge that is infected or is suspected to have been infected with Amblyomma Variegatum shall a specified treatment to the livestock for a period as shall be directed Chief Veterinary Officer. Article 7 defines powers of inspection of the Chief Veterinary Officer. Article 8 prescribes offences and penalties.
