Abstract
This Act imposes a levy on the exportation of clear cotton lint and provides with respect to use of proceeds of such levy.
The levy shall be paid by an exporter of clean cotton lint at a rate to be established by the Cabinet. The proceeds of the levy shall be collected by the Comptroller of Customs, be paid into a separate account at Treasury and be used for expenses, as the Cabinet may, from time to time, may direct to be paid towards the formation and other expenses of the West Indian Cotton Growers Association or the Antigua and Barbuda Cotton Growers Association.
