Abstract
This Act amends the Litter Act by redefining “premises” and “waste” and with respect to appointment and powers of enforcement of litter prevention wardens, duties of owners, occupiers or persons in control of premises and offences. The Act holds an owner, occupier or person in control of any premises to be responsible for keeping such premises and adjoining areas clean and grants powers to a litter prevention warden to issue a clean up order in respect of untidy premises.
