Abstract
This Act prohibits, and introduces measures to prevent or suppress, a felony defined in sections 12 or 15 of the Larcency Act involving praedial produce including crops and cattle.
The Governor-General may declare areas for the purposes of this Act and create for each such area an appointing authority for purposes of appointing a Community Committee for each area. This Committee shall assist in the prevention and suppression of praedial larcency. The Act further defines powers of enforcement of authorized officers and provides for judicial procedures, rules of evidence, etc. in relation with the prosecution of the offences defined in this Act.
