Abstract
This Act provides for the protection of produce against offences. “Produce” means cacao, maize, coconuts, limes and wood grown, produced or manufactured in Antigua and Barbuda.
For this purpose, growers shall obtain a licence and shall be registered in the Growers Register to be held by a police station in the district of the grower. The licence shall be granted by the police. The police shall also keep a seller’s register in which licensed sellers and the kind of produce that is sold are registered.
