Abstract
This Act makes rules relative to the mining and use of radioactive minerals, i.e. minerals listed in the Schedule to this Act or declared to be such by the Minister.
Mining of such minerals requires a licence and no exportation shall take place without a permit issued by the Governor-General. Licence holders shall report on mining operations to the Governor-General who shall also be informed on the discovery of radioactive minerals. The Act further provides for powers of enforcement and regulation-making powers of the Minister and prescribes offences.
