Abstract
The 41 regulations are divided into 8 Chapters: Declaration of standards (I); Use of standard marks (II); Designation of laboratories and testing facilities (IV); Fees (V); Testing of articles submitted or seized (VI); Advertising, labelling and packing (VII); Compulsory standards (VIII).
Part I deals with procedures for the declaration of standards by the Bureau established under the Act including publication. Laboratories and testing facilities shall be designated by the Bureau. If a compulsory standard is declared in accordance with provisions of the Act the advertising, labelling and packaging are subject to specified rules and the Bureau may petition the Court to order any person to stop producing a product when the Bureau holds that person is unable to produce conform the compulsory standard (sect. 38).
