Abstract
This Act makes provision for a wide variety of matters relative to tenure of and transactions regarding land for which a certificate of title was issued.
The certificate of title of lands to which this Act applies shall be issued by the registrar of Titles in the form as set out in the Second Schedule to this Act. The Act provides, among other things, for: the grant of Crown land; relationship between certificate of title and other rights relating to the land; bringing of land under the working of this Act; transfer and transmission of land; mortgages and incumbrances on the land; sale of incumbered lands; crop warrants granted in advance; and registration and confirmation of possessory and qualified titles. A certificate of title shall not affect certain rights in water.
