Abstract
This Act establishes the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority as a body corporate, defines functions and powers of the Authority and provides with respect to the administration and operation of the Authority. The Act also establishes a Tourism Advisory Council.
The Authority shall be managed by a Board of Directors. The Authority shall, among other things, develop policies for the promotion of tourism in Antigua and Barbuda, design strategies for tourism development and prepare, each year, a tourism development plan to be submitted to the Minister. The Authority shall have regulation-making power in respect of the tourism industry in Antigua and Barbuda.
