Decision n. 347, dated 22 May 2019 determining the conditions and procedures for the transfer of management of fishing infrastructure to fishing organizations, local self-government units and private entities.

This Decision aims to determine the conditions and procedures for the transfer of management of fishing infrastructures and fishing-related infrastructures. The procedure of transferring of fishing infrastructure and fishing-related infrastructure to fishing organizations and private entities is carried out on-line through public competition, according to the provisions of this text. In order to transfer the fishing infrastructure, the institution responsible for fishing and aquaculture services must take into account that the transfer process guarantees the fulfillment of the following conditions: non-change of destination and purpose; preservation and guarantee of public interest; use and/or improvement of the infrastructure; establishment of the infrastructure in service of entities that exercise related fishing activities; provision of high quality service.
