Abstract
This Decision, based on the provisions of the Law No.10465 dated 29.9.2011 on the veterinary service in the Republic of Albania, sets the implementation of the cooperation of local self-government units with the veterinary service. Local self-government units shall cooperate with the regional directorates of the National Authority for Veterinary and Plant Protection, with the regional directorates of the National Food Authority as well as the structure responsible for veterinary medicine in the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, for the implementation of prophylactic measures, with the aim of limitation and eradication of infectious diseases in animals.
