Decision No. 228 concerning the protection of urban environment from pollution and damage.

All national and foreign individuals or legal persons are compelled to protect the environment and natural landscape. Particular provisions concerning, on the one hand, organic waste and, on the other hand, solid, liquid and gaseous waste are laid down in article 2. Article 4 provides for the establishment of Inspectorates for Protection of Urban Environment and Natural Landscape. Article 5 sets out penalties.
