Abstract
The Decision lays down the rules of procedure for fire prevention in forests and pastures. The regional forestry departments are the responsible authority required to prepare plans for the prevention and management of fires, maintain surveillance systems throughout the year, organize voluntary units of fire extinguishing, plan efficient usage of human and material resources and organize public awareness campaigns.
