Abstract
The Decision lays down the framework for the proclamation of the regional natural parks including the conditions to be met by the areas proposed for parks and the rules of procedure for the proposal and approval of the regional natural parks. Such parks should meet certain requirements such as be not less than 50ha, ensure the preservation of the natural environment and the biodiversity at local level, be cultivated or natural green areas, populated with local flora and fauna, not included in the existing network of protected areas, etc.
