Abstract
This Decision defines the manner for organization and operation of the parasite diagnostic laboratories of the Department of Plant Protection, which includes issues regarding its technical and spatial requirements and additional operational and procedural terms. Parasite diagnostic laboratories of the Department of Plant Protection are now organized in the Plant Health Sector, in the Department of Plant Protection, near the Institute of Food Safety and Veterinary Medicine, Tirana, under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, as a national reference center for problems related to plant protection. Main task of this department are monitoring of quarantine parasites, determination of their status, control methods, notification system, diagnostics and prognosis-signalling of parasites, biological-agronomic tests and other.
