This Guideline lays down technical requirements for the selection of plots and sub-plots for exploitation, timber marking, logging, transport and storage of timber. It is composed of the following Chapters: (I) General Provisions; (II) Selection of plots and sub-plots for exploitation; (III) Marking rules; (IV) Logging; (V) Technical requirements for secondary and final loggings; (VI) Inland transport; (VII) Cleaning and delivery; (VIII) Storage of timber; (IX) Delivery. Detailed provisions are laid down as regards the issue of exploitation permissions. The Directorate supervises exploitation activities.
