Abstract
The Instruction provides for obligatory hygiene requirements that need to be observed in all stages of production, processing, storage, and transportation of live molluscs, fish, and fish products as well as for the organization and implementation of state inspections as required by EU regulations No. 853/2004 and No. 854/2004.
The Instruction consists of 4 Chapters and includes separate sections applicable for different fishery categories: General provisions (I); Specific hygiene requirements for the facilities including tools, treatment of live bivalve molluscs and fishery products (II); Official controls in relation to bivalve molluscs and fishery products (III); Final provisions (IV).
