Abstract
This Instruction here sets specific maximum levels for certain listed (see attached Annexes) contaminants in food for human consumption. The purpose of this text is to establish maximum levels of contaminants in foods for ensuring a high level of protection of people's health and related consumer interests. This text is also partially aligned with the provisions of the Commission Regulation (EU) 2023/915 on maximum levels for certain contaminants in food and repealing Regulation (EC) No 1881/2006.
