Abstract
This Instruction provides for the establishment of the Scientific Committee which shall provide, at request, scientific opinions in the field of food safety. It is composed of two panels: the panel of biological risks, and the panel of chemical risks. Its tasks and rules of procedures are further laid down in the Instruction.
