Instruction nr. 9 dated 28 April 2023 on the technical criteria of tools and machines, which are used for treatments with plant protection products.

This Instruction defines necessary updates regarding certain terms and technical criteria of tools and machines which are used for treatments of plants with plant protection products (pesticides). This text regulated updated technical standards and requirements that have to be respected by manufacturers and users of such particular equipment. In order to control possible risk, a set of construction-detailed requirements that are all aimed at secure and controlled application of plant protection products. The National Veterinary and Protection Authority is charged with the implementation of this instruction. Certification and control of this kind of equipment is subject to rules also contained in the Decision No. 317, dated 15 May 2019 on the approval of the rules for the sustainable use of plant protection products and qualification criteria for users.
