Instructions No. 778 of 1993 on protection of forests from insects, pests, fires, and on related expenses.

This Regulation makes provision for measures to limit the risks of damage to forests by fires, pests and insecs. District forest authorities shall organize monitoring of forests to identify risks; forest authorities shall organize teams for extinguishing fires and shall take other measures with regard to water supply; prohibitions and duties for citizens are introduced with regard to the use of fire in forests; forest authorities in cooperation with the Forests and Pastures Research Institute shall establish limits of contamination for forests and other necessary standards.
