Law no. 133/2015 on the treatment of property and completion of the property compensation process.

The object of this Law is: a) the regulation and fair compensation of property rights issues arising from expropriations, nationalizations or confiscations, in accordance with Article 41 of the Constitution and Article 1 of Protocol 1 of the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms; b) creation and administration of the Compensation Fund, which will serve for the compensation of properties; c) determining the procedures for handling the property and completing the property compensation process, as well as the administrative bodies charged with their implementation.
