Law No. 30/2013 amending and supplementing Law No. 8905 on protection of the marine environment from pollution and damage.

The present Law amends the Law that lays down provisions aimed at the protection of the marine environment against pollution and damage, specifically the provisions regarding the authoritative institutional framework and the sanctions issued for administrative infringements. The term ‘Inspectorate of Environment’ is replaced with ‘Inspectorate responsible for the environment protection’ while the term ‘Fishery Inspectorate’ is replaced with “Inspectorate responsible for fishery’. The fines are issued, examined and decided upon by the inspectorate responsible for the environment protection.
