Law No. 68/2014 amending and supplementing Law No. 9587 of 2006 on biodiversity protection, as amended.

This Law amends and supplements Law No. 9587 of 2006 on biodiversity protection to ensure full compliance with the Council Directive 92/43/EEC of 21 May 1992 on the conservation of natural habitats and of wild fauna and flora, as amended. Except amending several articles, the Law also introduces a whole new Chapter IV/I- on the management and protection of types of natural habitat and fauna including wild birds and plants that are of interest for the community.
