Law No. 72/2013 amending and supplementing Law No. 9426 on livestock breeding.

This Law amends and supplements articles 1, 64, 65, 68-70, and 90-91 of Law 9426 of 2005. The amendments deal with the zoo technical control and control entities. The zoo technical service overlooks the sustainable breeding of the farm animals, the improvements in breeding and animal feeding, and the commerce in breeding materials. The zoo technical service is part of the veterinary service. The recommended improvement is defined either in terms of urgent measures or complimentary penalties.
