Abstract
This Law refers to a strategy on tourism development which is to be proposed by the Ministry of Tourism and approved by the Council of Ministers. On the basis of the strategy, urban planning studies are to be carried out for the identification of zones to be promoted for tourism.
A Tourism Development Committee made up of representatives of various ministries may approve applications for activities to be promoted. It also has powers to screen applications for activities other than tourist ones in promoted zones; in which case, if conflicts arise, the Council of Ministers is given the responsibility to decide.
