Law No. 9791 amending and supplementing Law No. 9385 of 2005 on forests and the forestry service.

This Law lays down several addenda and amendments to Law No. 9385 of 2005 on forestry and the forestry service. The amendments aim at the implementation of the Kyoto Protocol. Specific provisions regard monitoring of forests, forest users’ associations rights and responsibilities as well as penalties to be applied in case of infringements.
