Law No. 9822, dated 29 October 2007 on the accession of the Republic of Albania to the International Convention for the conservation of Atlantic tuna (ICCAT).

This Law (promulgated by the Decree No. no. 5507, dated 6 November 2007 of the President of the Republic of Albania) declares the accession of the Republic of Albania to the International Convention for the conservation of Atlantic tuna (ICCAT). The governments whose authorized representatives have signed, taking into consideration the interests of their common information on the populations of tuna and other tuna-like fish found in the Atlantic Ocean and wanting to cooperate for the maintenance of the populations of these fishes in levels that would allow maximum sustainable occupancies for food and other purposes, are aimed to implement related principles stipulated in the Convention.
