Abstract
This Order, based on the provisions of the Albanian Law on Fisheries No. 64/2012, here declares the implementation of Recommendation GFCM/44/2021/20 of the General Fisheries Commission for the Mediterranean, "For a multi-year management plan for a sustainable use of small pelagics in the Adriatic Sea (geographic subareas 17 and 18)". Fishing vessels engaged in fishing of small pelagics (sardines and anchovies) shall implement the ban on fishing, for a 30-day period, as follows: - for sardines February 15–March 16; - for anchovies June 1–June 30. Other specific provisions are further listed in this text.
