Abstract
This Order regulates the Possible Urgent Measures in the years 2019-2021 for the Reserves of Small Pelagics Species on the Adriatic Sea (Geographical Sub-Areas 17 and 18). The captains of fishing vessels shall comply with the obligations arising from paragraphs 8-11 of the Recommendation. Small fishing vessels fishing sardines and anchovies shall not exceed 180 fishing days per year, with a maximum of 144 fishing days for sardines and a maximum of 144 fishing days for anchovies. Fishing vessels fishing small pelagic (sardines and anchovies) for 2020-2021 to implement the ban on fishing, for a period of 30 days as follows: for sardines February 15 - March 15; for anchovies June 1 - June 30. It is prohibited to fish small pelagics for ships over 12 m in total length, up to a distance of 6 nautical miles from the coast for the period: until December 31, 2019; May 1 - December 31, 2020; April 1 - December 31, 2021. The fishing of small pelagics will be carried out with floating means that use the form of fishing with koshilok (with siege) and the form of fishing with pelagic trata according to the provisions of DCM no. 719, dated 12.10.2016 On the management of commercial fishing capacities and some regulations on the operation of the fishing vessel register .
