Order nr. 611 dated 8 August 2024 determining the detailed rules for the registration of animals in the national database and their traceability.

This Order here defines the rights, necessary obligations, specific rules for traceability and related observed standards for different types of living animals. Animals under provisions of this text are listed as follows: 1. Cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, horses, camels and deer (ungulates); 2. Dogs, cats and weasels; 3. Birds kept in cages; 4. Eggs for hatching; 5. Live animals kept in traveling circuses and animal shows. Provisions regarding the necessary animal identification procedures in terms of single identification document for the entire life of the animal, unique registration code and approval number are all regulated in this text.
