Regulation No. 1 dated 22.4.2016 on the functioning of the Committee for the Coordination of Scientific, Technical, and Economic Research in Fishery and Aquaculture.

This Regulation lays down rules and procedures for the establishment and functioning of the Committee for the Coordination of Scientific, Technical, and Economic Research in Fishery and Aquaculture. The Committee is a permanent advisory and consultative body of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Water Administration on issues related to studies and research of scientific, technical, economic, and state interest. Its mission is to coordinate research in assessing fish populations, sustainable usage of fishery and other sea sources, preparation of the National Strategic Plan, Management Plan and Fishery Implementation Plan, drafting the technical and technological terms for all types of fishing, assisting with drafting terms of reference for fishing and aquaculture authorizations, and giving broader professional assistance on fishery activities, sector status, etc. as required by its chairman. The Committee is convened when deemed necessary by its chairman but not less than once a year.
